As we continue to expand into the American market with our initial clients being well-known brands and large enterprises, we are seeking a dynamic Senior Sales Executive to help us capture new business opportunities and further establish our presence in the utility industry.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Account Executive to lead our efforts in acquiring new business within the utility industry in the Americas region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales growth, establishing strong relationships with key decision-makers, and closing deals within the industry.
The Senior Account Executive will maximize profitable company sales revenue by identifying, qualifying, negotiating, and closing new business with new clients. This position is primarily selling eSmart Systems’ software and software enabled services solutions.
Primary measures of performance will be new order entry and revenue from new clients.
Objectives & Key Responsibilities
- Increase market share – hunting new accounts:
- Identify and target potential clients within the utility industry through market research and lead generation.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and meet or exceed sales quotas.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives and department heads in target companies.
- Understand the unique needs and challenges of utility companies and tailor our SaaS and services solutions to address their specific requirements.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value of our software to potential clients and partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development and customer success management, to ensure client success and satisfaction.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close deals and secure long-term partnerships.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management on a regular basis.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to continuously refine sales strategies
Qualifications and Key Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience, preferably in complex Enterprise SaaS sales.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas.
- Deep understanding of the utility industry and its specific challenges.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales tracking tools.
- Willingness to travel as needed (up to 50%).
- Results-driven and goal-oriented, “get things done” mentality.
- Fluency in English, Spanish language skills are advantageous.
